STEM Glasgow are once again partnering up with the Glasgow Science Centre to offer all primary and ASL classes a free visit to the Glasgow Science Centre with access to the science mall and one curricular linked activity. Further information on the Science Centres Education Programme can be found here. The Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council have given some funding to support the cost of transport for schools. Please note that funding is limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis. The transport grants will be directly managed and issued by the Science Centre

We are also running the free STEM employability programme for S1 – S2 pupils. The programme has been developed in partnership with the Glasgow Science Centre and Skills Development Scotland, in line with Developing the Young Workforce recommendations and HIGIOS 4 (QI 3.3 Increasing Creativity and Employability). The pupils will take part in a My World of Work Live! sessions and full access to the science mall.

Last academic year over 20,000 pupils experienced a visit to the science centre through this programme, and we are pleased to be able to fund these again this year.
